HyperTrace

HyperTrace is a Windows 95/98/NT utility that performs a traceroute much faster than the Microsoft-supplied DOS app. It is available free from AnalogX.

It doesn't have the nifty features of Visual Route, but it does the job much more efficiently than the Microsoft version. You have to use the Config button to turn on/off measurement of packet loss, and when turned on, it continuously Pings the nodes until Abort is pressed (taking a significant amount of bandwidth while measuring). But, for the price, it's a deal!
